It was the app I chose to accompany me on my second attempt, which was successful this time.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why I thought it was worth highlighting the app (<a href=\"https:\/\/doppi.app\">\u201cthe nicest player for your music files\u201d<\/a>). Not only is it great, but it has also gotten some amazing new features:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nearby Doppis (version 5.1), to find other iPhones with Doppi installed on the same network in order to exchange music. For reasons I&#x27;m sure you understand, I was never able to test it.<\/li>\n<li>Synchronized song lyrics (5.2). Doppi itself searches for and downloads the lyrics with just one click. My ears aren&#x27;t refined enough to make use of this, but I know that many people swear they need a good equalizer.<\/li>\n<li>Localization in Brazilian Portuguese (5.4.1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The latter was especially satisfying because I helped with the translation.<\/p>\n<p>The previous version (5.4) had expanded support to other languages, but did not include pt_BR. I sent an email to Radu Dutzan, Doppi&#x27;s developer, asking for my language.<\/p>\n<p>He was one step ahead. Thanks to these generative AI translators, he already had an almost complete translation in testing. I installed the beta version and contributed about a dozen corrections and improvements (like fixing strings in European Portuguese).<\/p>\n<p>I was happy to help. It&#x27;s an app I use a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, an important detail: unlike Apple&nbsp;Music, Doppi can read <code>*.flac<\/code> files.<\/p>\n<p>If you listen to your own music files on your iPhone and\/or iPad, Doppi is well worth it.
