What\u2019s your name and what do you do?<\/h3>\n

Leonardo<\/a>, 40, southern Brazil, makes educational videos on the internet and has been a regular reader of the Manual do Usu\u00e1rio<\/strong> for years.<\/p>\n

Tell us a bit about your wallpaper.<\/h3>\n

My lock screen wallpaper is a photo I took earlier this year at Pi\u00e7arras beach (it has a special place in my heart because I grew up spending summers there) and I liked the colors. The \u201cunlocked screen\u201d wallpaper is also a photo, taken at a friend\u2019s house surrounded by lots of greenery.<\/p>\n

Why is your home screen the way it is?<\/h3>\n

Practicality. I keep daily apps where I can glance at them and remember \u2014 Duolingo<\/a>, Wine<\/a>, Insight Timer<\/a> (meditation), MFIT Personal<\/a> (gym), Kindle<\/a> \u2014 plus frequently used apps like Spotify, Google Maps, etc.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the deal with your widgets?<\/h3>\n

Besides calendar\/agenda, I use the meditation app widget (mainly as a reminder) and recently the widget for my digital scale app because I\u2019m trying to gain weight.<\/p>\n

Which apps do you use the most?<\/h3>\n

WhatsApp, of course. I also open the Wine app every day (I\u2019m a subscriber) to take the three\u2011question quiz to earn R$ 1 and learn about wines, and Duolingo (math and chess)\u2026 that\u2019s about it.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the most obscure\/strange\/surprising app you use and wish more people knew about?<\/h3>\n

Not strange, but one I really wish more people used is Be My Eyes<\/a>, an app that connects blind or low\u2011vision people with volunteers who help over live video with simple visual tasks like reading labels or identifying colors. I get calls about once every three months or so \u2014 not constantly \u2014 and I always end the call with a bit of faith restored in technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
